elephant gate

The famous Elephant Gate at the Carlsberg Brewery in Copenhagen. These massive sculptures were carved in 1901 from granite quarried on the island of Bornholm. Carlsberg's potent Elephant Beer takes its name from these four beasts. The day was cloudy and gray, so the photos I took turned out better in black and white.
