union iron works

Mason and I found this abandoned warehouse wandering the Pier 70 area in San Francisco. I came back the next morning before dawn and explored the area in depth. It turns out this area is part of the former Union Iron Works, once the most important shipbuilding yards on the West Coast. A few minutes after taking this shot, I nearly stumbled on a hidden transient sleeping in a pile of blankets.
